Amazon.com Product Description From the renowned company that created the Swiss Army Knife a century ago comes the Swiss Army Classic pocketknife, a compact set of tools for campers, hikers, and boy scouts. Measuring 2-1/4 inches long, this version of the Classic is stylishly cased in a translucent housing with the familiar Victorinox logo on the side. More importantly, the unit contains all the classic Swiss Army tools, including a small blade for cutting, a pair of mini scissors, a nail file with a screwdriver tip, a toothpick, tweezers, and a key ring. As with all Victorinox items, the Classic is made to exacting standards, with dozens of steps going into its construction. Victorinox attends to every detail, from selecting the finest materials to performing the final inspection. In addition, each individual tool has been hardened in a different way to stand up to its designated use. As with all Victorinox multi-tools, the Classic carries a lifetime warranty. About Swiss Army Knives In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The original product dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor for versatility.

Nice knives but almost too small May 4, 2010 Scout Mom We gave these knives to a Scout group and everyone loved their size and coloring. However, we had quite a few finger slices because the blade is so small and thin it's difficult to tell which blade is the sharp edge at times. Also they are a little tougher to open and close because everything is so thin.
Perfect April 22, 2010 maxiff (Va United States) This knife is always on my key ring. I lose them occasionally and have them taken away from me by airport security when I forget to pack them, which is why I had to buy a new one now, but I am never without one. I use every piece of it including the tweezers...well not so much the toothpick but still it's part of the whole Swiss army knife thing. Perfect size and perfectly useful.
Good Present April 3, 2010 Paul Pryor (Woodstock, VA United States) Bought two of these for my grandsons. They both loved them. The price was right and they were delivered on time.
Great pocket tool February 22, 2010 BadPotato (mt. usa) I will always have a Victornox Swiss in my pocket. They are small, sharp and they have a toothpick and tweezers. Couldn't ask for more. For what I need a pcoket knife for these are fantastic, fairly durable, at least for my uses. If I were doing anything more heavy duty I would carry an Old Timer. But the size of the Victornox and the functionality, I have kids, makes this a sweet tool for me.
Great on the key chain February 21, 2010 6thtexas (Boerne, Texas) Neat little tool! I use the blade for opening envelopes and such- keeps me from dulling my regular pocket knife. The blade can be sharpened easily and will get scary sharp if you want. Since I've got it, I have been surprised how much I use the scissors, tweezers, and toothpick.
