Amazon.com Product Description From the renowned company that created the Swiss Army Knife a century ago comes the Swiss Army Rambler pocketknife, a compact set of tools for campers, hikers, boy scouts, and just about everyone else. Measuring 2-1/4 inches long, this version of the Rambler is stylishly cased in a red housing with the familiar Victorinox logo on the side. More importantly, the unit contains all the classic Swiss Army tools, including a small blade, scissors, a nail file with a screwdriver tip, a bottle opener with a magnetic Philips screwdriver tip and a wire stripper, a toothpick, tweezers, and a key ring. As with all Victorinox items, the Rambler is made to exacting standards, with dozens of steps going into its construction. Victorinox attends to every detail, from selecting the finest materials to performing the final inspection. In addition, each individual tool has been hardened in a different way to stand up to its designated use. The Rambler carries a lifetime warranty. About Swiss Army Knives In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The original product dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor for versatility.

Many pen knives July 28, 2010 John Ellsworth (USA) I always have one in my pocket, except when I clear airport screening and have to leave the one in my pocket behind. I buy them in lots of three for that reason.
Rambler Knife Review March 28, 2010 James A. Lathrop (Colorado Springs, CO) Have owned this syle of knife for years. This is the smallest of the Victorinox knives, that I know of, that carry a phillips head screw driver on the end of the bottle opener. This along with the usual regular head, sissors, bottle opener, file, tweezers, toothpick and of course the knife blade make this a very handy small unobtrusive pocket companion. I would and do recommend this to anyone that carryies this type of tool.
Amazon as always, was easy to order from as was their third party vendor. The items arrived quickly and as advertized.
Has just what I need! March 16, 2010 David R. Krathwohl (FAYETTEVILLE, NY, US) Besides a blade, it has both a cross head and regular screwdriver, a nail file, a scissors, a can opener (never needed it) and wire stripper (never needed it either). It fits nicely in my key case so is available whenever it is needed. I find it very, very handy!
No Problem February 11, 2010 Walter L. Johnson I've used this model pocket knife for years and I love it. It is compact, and it has just the right combination of tools that I need to have with me at all times.
This order replaced one of the many that I have lost at security checkpoints.
Perfect knife September 20, 2009 Mr. Pen (Prairie Village, KS USA) I had a similar Victorinox that the TSA confiscated, but this one is much better, as it has a bottle opener. I use mine all the time and keep it on my keychain. The only way I could see it improving would be for it to be available in other colors (my old one was black) or for a model that the TSA allows you to keep on your keychain when boarding a plane. :-D
